Supporters of the Obama health law are incorrectly reading the Supreme Court’s ruling as a victory.

A Sad Day in America…..

It is a sad day in America indeed…we are no longer a Democracy, but are a full fledged Socialistic government.  This day that the Supreme Court ruled that the Mandate was a Tax, ended any hope of turning our country back into the free nation Obama has destroyed….

I hope that all of those who wanted Obamacare to pass understand the ramifications and the taxes you will pay to make it so…a good example I use is that I hope none of you are looking to sell you homes in 2013…you will now HAVE to pay a 3.8% Sales Tax on the sale and up from a 15% Capital Gains Tax to 20% BECAUSE IT”S WRITTEN INTO OBAMACARE!!!!

And let’s not forget the additional income tax ALL of us will incur to pay for all of these ‘great new services’ [MUCH SARCASM]….and oh yeah..if you REFUSE to buy insurance you will be TAXED again….so tell me…how are you going to make ends meet?

Nancy Pelosi was right … “We have to pass it so we can see what is in it”… Not good logic by my standards…I HAVE read Obamacare and it is rather disturbing….

A sad day indeed for the American people and what was once a Great Nation :’(

Jay Sekulow appeared on Fox News speaking about Senator Leahy’s threat directed at Chief Justice Roberts. The Senator demanded that Chief Justice Roberts vote to uphold ObamaCare or tarnish his record. This is considered a warning shot to the Justices deciding the Healthcare law. President Obama and his allies in Congress have stepped outside precedent, sending threatening signals to the Judiciary.

This week Congressman Lamar Smith (TX-21) released a report on the U.S. Justice Department’s disregard of the Constitution and rule of law, saying that “Rather than enforce the law and uphold the Constitution, the Obama administration has placed partisanship above the rule of law.”

“The Justice Department has a responsibility to enforce the laws of the land and protect the Constitution. Of all federal agencies, the Justice Department should not be motivated by a partisan agenda.  Unfortunately, under this Administration, the Justice Department has become more partisan than ever…“The Obama administration has ignored the constitutional balance of power between co-equal branches of government and blocked investigations of its actions. When the Administration doesn’t like a law, they refuse to enforce it. And if the Senate’s constitutional authority to approve political appointees gets in their way, the Administration ignores the Constitution…All government officials are bound by the limits of the Constitution and the rule of law, including the President and the Attorney General.  Unfortunately, this Administration continues to put a partisan agenda ahead of the Constitution and the rule of law.”

If you’ve ever bought anything on the Internet, over the phone, or from a catalog, you might have noticed that when you buy from some stores, you don’t pay any state sales tax, but if you buy from other stores, you do. That’s because a Supreme Court decision protected out-of-state businesses from revenue-hungry states. But a new bill working its way through Congress would change all that, turning every online retailer into a sales tax collector. And that’s legislation Congress should reject.

Obama’s politics of intimidation suggest that he wants more influence and perhaps control over judges. Hopefully, Americans will realize that’s where our story began — and we don’t want to go back there again. We need to preserve what we have, the separation of powers that helps protect our liberty.

A federal appeals court has ordered the Justice Department to clarify comments made by the president when he said yesterday that it would be “unprecedented” for the Supreme Court to overturn his signature health care law (“Obamacare”).

“I am confident that this will be upheld because it should be upheld,” President Obama said.

“Ultimately I am confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress.”
